Coast and Harbor Associates, Inc. is Hiring a Construction Manager Near Stamford, CT

Firm that assists Federal agencies to manage design and construction of their real estate projects is seeking a construction manager with at least six (6) years' experience managing the design and construction of capital projects for colleges and universities. The position will be located at the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York.

Candidates must have experience successfully:
  • Managing the design and construction of at least one capital project with a value of over $10 million for a college or university,
  • Managing design-build projects,
  • Managing projects upgrades to a facility on the National Historic Register,
  • Managing projects involving hazardous materials, particularly asbestos and lead,
  • Preparing, tracking, and managing budgets and schedules,
  • Managing projects in a multi-stakeholder, demanding end user environment
Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have
  • Experience managing projects for Federal agencies,
  • Experience preparing analyses of contractor claims,
  • Experience preparing reports in dashboard format, and
  • Certification by the Construction Management Certification Institute (sponsored by the Construction Management Association of America) or the Project Management Institute.
Candidates' resumes should include information about individual projects on which they worked, including the scope of the project, the candidate's role on the project, and the project's dollar value. This information can be included in the body of the resume or as a separate project list.
